Hi all,

Is it possible to turn a picture that I had scanned as a PDF file into a jpeg file (or something similar) so that I can post it on Facebook?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I would just do a screen capture (Alt-PrintScreen), Paste into Paint, crop and save it. I do this all the time. You do lose resolution with this method, but just posting on Facebook reduces resolution, too.

BTW, you didn't mention platform, so I assumed Windows.

I've always done the same, SquarePeg. I've done it in Windows and Mac (on the Mac you can either do a screen print with all the keys*, or what I do is open Preview, do a Take Screen Shot from either Screen, Selection or Window, then regardless of how you do the screen shot, within Preview create new jpeg file from clipboard).

*
Control-Command-Shift-3 (Entire screen)
Control-Command-Shift-4 (Selection)
Control-Command-Shift-4-space (Window)

Thanks, everyone!

I tried the website, and it couldn't have been easier.
I'm lazy like that.

Yeah, that's why I suggested it. Easiest way to accomplish the task.
