W: Writing a Book O: Need Lab Rats that Like to Read

Postby RachelACornell » Thu Nov 01, 2012 4:56 pm

I need people who would like to read, raw, unedited, short pieces from my new book. It's even a way to get a wee bit of Nagging for free.

If you’re not familiar with my work here’s my attempt at an elevator-like pitch: “Smart people come to me when they are ready to finish something BIG! I’m a follow-through expert, also known as The ProNagger."

If you read something and want to ask how it can apply to your own situation, I will write you back (...and maybe into the book!) I will sometimes ask you question and sometimes ask you to ask me questions.

If this sounds cool to you...

•Email me if you want in: Rachel@ProNagger.com
•Subject line: Nag Book

Thanks,
Rachel

PS: Anyone have any thoughts on the best to keep this kind of reading support organized? I have a writing tool I'll use that will help me keep data organized.

What I’m not sure how to handle is in cases where you might decide to help two weeks into the project, I would want you to be able to see the earlier writing too. So maybe something like aWeber would work? Any thoughts?
When people work with me, their book gets written, their project gets finished, their words get published, they lose the weight, they find the husband, they travel to India – in 90 days or less.

I think nobody will like to be a lab rat! so better to reformulate the obstacle...and may be that's why you get no suggestions until now !

Hi Rachel,

I don't have any suggestions, unfortunately, but I think it's a great idea to have a focus group for this!
Good luck!

I like the thought of reading or contributing writing, and I agree with the other comment of rewording the "lab rat" to something appealing and complimentary.
