Hi again,

I meant to add that taking those two Administrative Assistant courses will prepare me to get certified as an Administrative Professional (CAP) with a Technology Applications specialty. That will cost $475.

I would obviously choose MS Excel as my technology application specialty, as it has to be something from the MS Office 'suite'.

Another great thing to have on my resume that costs hardly anything compared to a degree. :D

Of course, I'm not waiting on getting all of the courses done and certifications in hand to look for a job. I plan for it all to be ongoing. It will help to beef up my resume with marketable skills that will result in better pay and better jobs over time.

Back again.

Wouldn't taking several courses at a time be the same as being in school? I mean, when I was in school I had 6+ courses all running simultaneously. Am I wrong about that?

So, if it's possible to take up to 4 courses simultaneously, here's what it could look like:

1) June 19th - July 31st

Accounting Fundamentals I
Introduction to Excel 2010
Administrative Assistant Fundamentals

2) August 21st - October 2nd

Accounting Fundamentals II
Intermediate Excel 2010
Introduction to Quickbooks 2013
Administrative Assistant Applications

3) October 23rd - December 4th

Intermediate Quickbooks 2013
Performing Payroll in Quickbooks 2013
Introduction to Peachtree Accounting 2012
Introduction to Crystal Reports 10

4) Quickbooks ProAdvisor - December

5) CAP + Technology Applications Specialty - December

So, I could get a job anytime between today (if no experience is required, or I want to volunteer to intern somewhere) and the end of July (when I will have some fundamental skills).

Or... I could overlap different types of courses so that I don't have to skip a whole period between them.
Let me go and figure that one out.

:D
