Added income at home

Postby sstumpf » Sun Nov 04, 2012 2:09 pm

I live in eastern Tennessee where there are no services for my daughter with Downs, therefore I can't go to work. I'm 66 years and a retired therapist. I was licensed in Ohio, but couldn't afford renewal. I moved to Tennesse, expenses are less, but I need a little more cash to enjoy life. I am a dissertation short of a PhD in psychology, have an undergrad in English, and enjoy different crafts. I would love suggestions in how to earn maybe an extra $200-$400 a d month.

Hope that things are working out for you on some level sstumpf.

Could you consult since you have some background in psychology?
There may be schools nearby that could use your services. Maybe even businesses re: workplace issues and how to resolve ...
English is great too - your skill set is marketable. You can offer competitive rates ... just brainstorming here.

A blog might be a good way to get your name out there.
Best of luck! lemontzzaide :)
