You probably mean Val de Funes, which is in Northern Italy. Look at the official website of the Sudtirol region: /www.suedtirol.info Hope it helps you. Ciao [This message has been edited by Pembeh (edited July 18, 2003).]

There you are! How have you been? I'm in Athens with Matt and his new baby, Leo. Going home tomorrow night (to get some sleep!) You are a fine tourist guide! You are always a helpful person, Pembeh. Send me an email and tell me what you're doing these days.

I have found a tourism web site on VAL DI FUNES and can see the Dolomites region on a map, but am having a hard time fining a map that pinpoints it. Anyone have any ideas on where to look on the map? What cities is it near? Also what is a good time of year (or bad) to visit this region. I saw some things about an Octoberfest, so I thought this would probably be a good time.
