Open your home to Theatre professionals

Hi. I am a theatre director and playwright. Often I am an assistant director in a new city and am expected to find my own housing. There are a number of wonderful Theatre patrons out there who put me up for free. This is very kind and recently I found out some if them write it off on taxes as a charitable donation. One couple said it helped their insurance rates. It's something to think about doing ..... there are a lot of us out there needing this kind of help.

Contact a person called a Company Manager at the Theatres with the best reputations in your area. Tell them what you have to offer room wise. Remember we are working in entertainment and that means late hours and much needed down time. Actors and directors have much work to do in quiet. Directors travel all the time and are great houseguests and petsitters. Ask your guest for references.
