MS Office+computer skills

Postby MoragMunch » Tue Oct 23, 2007 7:59 pm

A teacher gave me this site when we were learning computers. http://www.pendaflexlearningcenter.com/ They offer free on-line courses in MS software programs, like intermediate and advanced excel, PowerPoint, etc. They give you assignments to hand in and tests you have to take by a certain date, so it helps to keep you on schedule. Plus, when you complete it, they give you a print out certificate of the level you learned.

Hey everyone I'm new but i decided to join just to share a couple of cool sites i've found www.wowio.com - a website with free books that you can download, they actually have some pretty good stuff www.instructables.com - has at ton of DIY projects with instructions and for all you information junkies i recommend the supermemo program which can be found at http://www.supermemo.com/ . it a program that helps you learn/memorize information that you put in as efficiently as possible. the new one also has incremental reading which lets you extract tons of articles from the internet that you can read and save information that you feel is important. Check out the site, i think its worth it -Kade

Weebly - Create a FREE website! Simple click-and-drag tools. You can have a published web-page in an hour. This is a set of cheat-sheets and 'how-to' use Weebly pages that I threw together to help you get started. Take 5 minutes to skim these, then jump right in. http://www.weeblytutorial.com/ Good luck!
