My Rotating Priorities Board & 15 Month Calendar

Postby annasus » Fri Jul 26, 2013 2:44 pm

I re-read Refuse to Choose over a short retreat and am so glad I did. I took certain things away from it last time but didn't do nearly enough with the tools recommended in the book. It also helped me re-realize that I'm just not one of those people with a singular passion. No matter how hard I try, I just can't be that person. I discovered that I'm a Sybil Scanner with some traits from the Plate Spinner, Serial Specialist, Serial Master, and Jack-of-all-trades.

Anyhwhooooo.... When I read it again, I liked the idea of the Rotating Priorities Board and 15 month Calendar but I wasn't feeling the suggestions provided. So, after about a week of pondering on it, I came up with an idea that would work for me. I'm really excited about it and wanted to share it with you guys. Who knows, maybe it'll inspire others to create a variation that works for them.

Right now I'm really into the Natural Skincare Junkie which is why it has a little cherry beside it :)

thanks for sharing! looks like a very helpful tool for plate spinners! and I think I'd like to re-read Refuse to Choose. The first time through I was just amazed that she "got" me!

I started something like this. Of course I haven't finished it. I bought a roll of magnetic tape and will use a big metal sheet I have lying around. Thanks for the spark to get me moving on this.

I like your idea.

There was a time I had a large calendar/lists on the kitchen cupboards (eye height) but took them down years back as I thought it cluttered up the place (whilst ignoring the clutter on the surfaces).

Think I should go back to that idea of the calendar but make it more like yours.
