Very cold, very sunny, very still. Birds out in force. Very spring-like feel, even though snow still all over the ground. Sun is getting higher again, after all.

Hi all, I'm back

Today.

Mom keeps commenting I've put on weight, yes I know, it crept up since the summer last year. She can't understand why I haven't done anything about it. I finally realised I have to sort myself out as I've had stomach problems for months. I seem to have had an aversion to excercising for ages, no idea why as I had done it for years on a daily basis and one day I just stopped and refused to do it.

I know things have to change.

I hadn't been to the pub all week until Friday and Saturday and only had a few of my usual ciders instead I was drinking blackcurrant squash and black coffee, it was bitter so I added sugar, something I normally don't have. I did drink rather a lot of them over the weekend, and on Sunday someone made me a tea and by accident added a couple of sugars, I drank it. Mega bad headache by Sunday evening, felt like a hangover and on Monday I felt like I had been drugged.

I plan on writing posts similar to the one below on a daily basis.

fitness - walk 1 mile, 10 staircases then 5 mins fast exs then 2 staircases

food -2 muffins, salad, tuna........beef mince, veg......crumpet........ 2 small slices wholemeal, mango chutney, sliced ham

pub - only stayed about 10 mins - decaff black coffee, no sugar

home - drank lots of water, 1 mild caff coffee with milk, 1 stronger caff coffee with milk

4 tabs - para, codeine and caffeine, sodium - still having after effects of Monday's headache

mood - irritated - I have got myself yet again into a 'situation', know I need to let it go. Didn't get anything done today I wanted.

awareness - realised that last week I started getting on with the finances and other 'backburner' items yet when I went out at the weekend it completely altered motivation so now I am resistant once again. Socialising at the weekend was all dramas and complications, some worse than ever. Might have been dehydrated lately.

before lunch -

dreams about being very late. Was going to meet with Ex DH and much earlier ex b/f in same place but I was still in bed during the pre-arranged time.
Real life - it was earlier than I expected. Might have been related to Saturday night.

exc - 6 staircases
food - muffin, black mild caff. coffee
health - congested sinus, headache
feeling - congestion may be due to real life complications. Feel unmotivated to back to finance list yet on the PLUS side, feel motivated to get fitter.


ex - 2 miles
food - salad, tuna, pork pie, tiny bit coleslaw
drink - water, decaff strong black coffee


ex - 1 mile +
tiny amount special rice and sauce

Thursday

food - 1 small bacon, sausage, egg, tiny portion baked beans
ex - 2 miles +
food - ham, mango chutney wholemeal small sliced bread
food - veg curry, popadoms small
drink - black coffees, white teas, water, ciders

feelings- complications in personal life, socialising this week = can't switch off thoughts, Didn't get anything done. Poor sleep


Friday

ex - over a mile
food - naan bread, small samosa..... very small salad, tiny sausage roll... very small salad with sweetcorn, small bit sardine, muffin, small bit coleslaw
drink - white tea, water

feelings - lack of sleep again = nap, didn't get anything done

Sugar - even though I did have ciders last night, I feel ok, none of that drugged up feeling from last weekend, maybe the difference is because I didn't have add any sugar into coffees, no cake

Yes I know about the fat and sugar, I was out the house all day, nothing I fancied for lunch on the menu for myself, friend wanted brunch so I shared it. I wasn't planning on eating the curry for dinner that day but another friend was insisting as I hadn't seen them in months and wanted to pay for me so I ate it. I went back on the ciders as I'd had enough coffee and water by that stage of the day.

Strange I like the cider because I don't like sweets, never eat desserts and only have a small bit of cake on a Sunday.

That wasn't a comment on your intake, it was supposed to be what I "intook". But, it was because you had said similar things. I changed it to read more like it was me.

Saturday -

food - veg, raw spinach, muffin, sardine...... cornflakes with milk x 3 small bowls
drinks - tea, water

no excercise or walk - online all day writing

Sunday -
Roast beef lunch..........small slice cake, crumpet, small slice cheese, ham, salad, slice bread
drinks - tea, caff coffee with milk, water, cornflakes with milk

Monday


Woke up very late !!!! felt exhausted. Either down to late night online writing or something I ate.

I also know that cooked veg with roast disagreed with me - it always does but I keep eating it hoping it won't this time. Salad seems to be ok.

Maybe it was the cake Sunday night= exhaustion, only a couple of really small pieces but very sugary. Last Monday I felt terrible as not only tired but also headache, sore joints. I don't feel as bad as that as no socialsing, ciders etc since Thursday.

feeling - friend R's life is more complicated than mine.
Even though I spent most of the weekend on writing activities, I haven't done the other necessary ones. Probably using R as a distraction.
didn't contact parents

food - spinach, thick bacon tiny pieces....cornflakes very small portion dry
drink - white tea, water

food - tin of mushrooms with mayo (bad idea), dry cornflakes, Polish sausage, tomato, mango chutney, chicken and bacon sandwich filler, 5 small slices thin wholemeal
drink, white teas, black coffee, water

fitness - walk -may do exs later
socialising - didn't stay out long with friends, only enough to drink coffee
