Hi

Rule for this month - DO NOT DRINK COFFEE JUST BEFORE BED

I was literally up all night and feel wrecked, the whole day seems to have disappeared and all I've done is spent all night and day trying to write one small reply to a post on a topic that was affecting me personally.

I don't know if it was something I ate yesterday or the stressed up feeling about what I was writing as well as a scenario with a certain person that happened over the weekend, but something has gone haywire for me today with my stomach and my mind. I think I've gone nuts!! Perhaps it was the coffee after all, that's what I'm telling myself.

This has all resulted in a really bad headache and backache from sitting for so long at the laptop. I have never had an episode like this one before. Weird.

Easter's goal was to not eat any chocolate or raid the kid's baskets during my week off. So far so good. Next goal is to happily get back to the gym and spend more time in the kitchen.
All the new fitness apps and feedback technology will make working out more fun. Entering a few contests such as Beachbody, BFL and BB.com will add a little significance to the goal. I hear the resistance getting restless.

forgot about not having coffee, but it was much earlier in the evening so hopefully should be ok.

food -

wholemeal bread and salad sandwiches
thick vanilla pancakes
lots home made potato salad
potato cake

white teas, coffee, water

I won't post my weight here, but I will say that I weigh more than Graham...and I carry my weight well as I'm tall. I am joining WW in a new location tomorrow, because the WW in my area has only 2 leaders and I can't relate to either of them. Feeling pretty positive about that. When I was talking to a friend today she told me about a stationary bike that she has for sale. Gotta think about that one - but since I'm not storing my car in the garage any more I do have room for it.

Today's weight: 147 (from being sick and not eating much, I'm sure)

I don't like posting my weight, but it helps me to be less afraid of the number itself and pay attention to the overall change. If I see it every day, it's harder for me to ignore it like I would like to! That's why I weigh myself everyday. I've tried weighing once a week, but I play mind games with myself and think I'm better off than I am, then I don't like what I see at the next weighing and feel like I've wasted a week. It's just better for me, but I know it's not for everyone. :)

I went on fitday.com and looked up my weight from last year, and on April 14th last year, I weighed 165! Wow! I hadn't really thought about that in awhile. :D

Only twelve pounds to go until I hit my current goal of 135. That's still not skinny by any means on my 5'2" self, but it's a lot better than the 180 I was a little over a year ago, and a heck of a lot healthier.

Hold that thought while I go eat some birthday cake! :lol:

Obviously a reflection of birthday madness, but worth every single bite! Now, if all the cake were gone, I'd be in good shape, but as it is there is still half a cake sitting there looking all luscious and lovely.... In fact, all I've had today is cake, coffee, more cake, more coffee, a handfull of potato chips, some more cake, and then vegetables for supper. Yes, cake for breakfast, lunch, and supper. :lol: That's the way we roll around here at birthday time!
