Re your watch, does that mean we can follow your running route on our laptops as you are actually doing it?

Mango, not surprising you have a bad back if you are helping the removal men. I recall when you moved before and you were trying to shift furniture with your ex and ran into some kind of problems to do with stairs I think.

Don't consider a paper round, remember how much I was moaning when I had that door to door job? It ruined my feet and I ended up in physio. I also did that p/t job in the school for challenging behaviour thinking that was a good idea for the walk and standing up for a few hours - bad idea! I got a punch in the eye on my first day!

I think by incorporating excercise for something your really enjoy is the answer or doing it by habit if you don't particularly like it.

I walked to the village, got drenched. Did some excercises at home. Not the ones on the list I wrote a few days ago but something at least.

Why? I just ran 4 days in a row.
I've been trying to vary up the mileage since I kind of got injured at the end of winter, and it seems to be working. Not just 4.3 every time. Plus, I had to get back to work.

This happens when I run too much. All I did was lean over toward my laptop to plug in a mouse USB plug in the back. I leaned a little too far and something pulls. It's not as bad this time in that I can stand up straight and walk straight, but I can't bend over as easily. Most of the time when I do this it's the opposite, I can't stand up straight, so I walk with a slight lean, but I can bend over.

So, I must weaken my back somehow, and just a slight wrong lean, and it goes out. I usually don't even notice it when I do it until all of a sudden ouch! But this time it was from leaning over the computer.

Law of attraction - I just dropped a food tray, bowl upended on the carpet. Luckily it was nearly empty!! Not in the computer room, it was by the front door, only had a bit of cleaning to do.

I'm not going to mention food on here anymore :?
