Yeah, I don't update enough. Did a heck of a lot of walking last week.

Gardening today.

Walk today @ 1 mile

Emergency appt at doctors today, had to sit in waiting room for 1.5 hours lucky me :? However, the doctor was really nice when I got in there, so was the pharmacist who I saw later, asked him to look at my eyes as the doc didn't have enough time for everything that needed doing (3 issues flared up at once today) And the music in the background was Glenn Miller then jazz which fortunately I really like.

Also cut my arm in the garden but dealt with that myself.

This was meant to start in August, I was just getting ahead of the game and to make a joke. I'll change the subject line on the first.

Cos you started it early I got the days mixed up thought it was August when I posted on the new conversations one.

Leave the title as it is, I like it

Yesterday, walk about 2 miles, legs hurt as have been overdoing walking lately

Ran 4.34 miles.

Went to doctor today. He said I'm in excellent health (pre blood test results), and to keep up the good work.

Ran 11.04 miles. Last week was crazy doing 15.7. This was more reasonable considering how far I've gone so far this summer (just over 9 miles). Still hard, though. This is the time of year around here to push the mileage. Cooler weather starting and still nice out.

Well done 11 ish or 15 ish is very good.

Thursday must have been about 5 miles but everything I do is just normal daily routine walking not for excercise.

Friday about 2.5 miles.
Today 2 + miles.

Hi,

I hope you change the title to Health and Fitness because as a newcomer I almost missed this log. I want to join in.

This morning I weighted and measured myself. I have a chart that I created for myself to record what I eat, what type of exercise I do, etc. on a daily basis. And then the weight and measurement page is once a month. I'm totally starting from scratch after not doing much of any exercise for about a year.

My goal to start with is to do some yoga each day. Doesn't matter how long. Whatever I do will get recorded on the log.

And today my goal is to fill out and mail the application for the low income rate at the local YMCA. I hate paperwork a lot more than I do diet and exercise so this is the "heavy lifter" of the day for me! Hope you guys are good at keeping each other accountable. Someone needs to make sure I do the paperwork!

So now I'm looking around for Running Log and wondering where I was going to post, didn't even think this was the same one.

Did you fill in the form inspired?

Nope! I just asked and it magically changed its name. Well, no. I lie. Actually, the person who created the thread changed the name in response to my request. Thanks for changing it! I used to be a runner but now I'm 58 years old and the knees just don't work that well anymore. I really miss running. It's like flying ..........except with your feet on the ground. What a feeling! Glad there are some folks out there who can still do it. Inspire

Oops! I didn't know which form your were referring to. I thought you meant the name of the thread.

You were referring to my YMCA form, yes? Wow! You guys are on the ball. I love it! Answer. Not yet. But it's next on my list of things to do after I get some lunch. I'll report in later. Thanks for asking, Unity.

I'm almost as old as you! My right knee is a little creaky when I run a long ways, and I've got chronic left Achilles "tendinitis" or what ever it is, but I'm able to keep hobbling along. I've been running about 41 years. Used to be a lot faster and lighter, but I still do a "modified" run. All's I can say is it's NOT walking. :)
