8 ways to feel about this mess

Postby Lynx » Sat Oct 10, 2015 10:45 am

Hi declutterers,

In the midst of the most massive, ongoing decluttering project and got myself to reflecting on there's more than one motivation.

Typically when I do this type of thinking of come up with at least 8 terms so each of the I Ching trigrams can be assigned to one. [for this I use + for yang and - for yin]

Here's the first 8 for this mess:

Some is simply padding — from the big bad wolves of life [Mountain - - +]

Some things contain dead air and by shift and sorting more room can be found [Wind - + +]

Some things are a jumble, like tangled strings [Water - + -]

Some things are out of order [Sun + + +]

Some are not labeled well [Earth - - -]

Some are out of sequence [Thunder + - -]

Some I can't make any sense of why it's still in my space [Fire + - +]

Some are for supplies for creative projects that fizzled or may yet to be done (distant laughter - who's that?) [Lake + + -]
