Whoohoo! Way to go! YES!

30 minutes of any exercise used to be no big deal for me, too. But now it's too much. That's why I made the challenge 10 minutes. AND YOU DID IT!

Thanks for joining in. It will motivate me to get back to it, too.

Do not compare your progress with what you use to do/be. However slow, however minimal, you are lapping everyone who is just sitting on the couch.

Another Yes. Molly and I took an extended walk today. :D I won't post here every day, but I'll keep checking in.

You're both right. A little is better than nothing. And a little is better than too much - which makes you want to forget the whole thing.

Hey, I actually did something!

I've been really stressed lately so I laid down on the living room floor and did some relaxation/meditation stuff. But that's not the exercise part. Since I was already there (on the floor) I thought, "Why not do some yoga while I'm here". And I did! 10 minutes of yoga!

Elaine, I'm glad that Molly took you for a long walk. She's good to her human, that way! Thanks, Molly!

I hope the yoga alleviated some of the stress as well.

You and Tituba are so right - ten minutes is much better than nothing.

I'll do my 10 minutes of cardio tonight. And wherever I am over the next few weeks, I'll try to get in that ten minutes of something.

Hello everyone,

I'm back again.

Here's what I've been doing. And you can do this, too.

When you're in the kitchen cooking or cleaning or doing dishes, here's your challenge.

Put the timer on for 10 minutes. Stand up straight, tighten your butt muscles as tight as you can, pull your shoulders back, check your feet to make sure you're balanced evenly on the front and back of your feet. Then..............keep that position the whole ten minutes! Yes. If you're not used to it, you'll keep forgetting. That's fine. Just keep redoing that position -- butt, shoulders, feet.

Eventually, you'll work up to being able to keep it tight for 10 minutes.

Why do this exercise? Your butt is the biggest muscle in your body. The more muscle you have in your body the less fat. Muscles burn calories. So, tighten that butt!

And yes, your butt will look better. I can hear you saying, "My butt is big enough, Inspire! I don't want a bigger butt"! It's not going to be bigger, just firmer, and better shaped.

And............this exercise is good for your posture as well. And good posture helps with your abs looking less pooched out because you're stander taller and prouder.

So, good luck with it! And if you roll over in bed the next morning and say, "Ouch! Why does my butt hurt"? It means you did it right! Keep going!

I'm not meeting this challenge every day, but I'm meeting it some of the time. :D Ten minutes on the cardio machine is easy now. I'll try the butt squeeze.

I did yoga this morning. One of the things I like about doing yoga is that it is a GENTLE way of getting back in touch with my body.

I did my exercises I do in the car today. Yes! You can exercise while driving!
