May 28 Tuesday
I did some yoga poses long forgotten.
cobra- fairly good no problem 4 times
grasshopper- monumental effort to lift the legs above knee level 5times
bow- I terribly struggled to catch my ankles 3 times
lotus- sorry no chance 3 times
Other than these, I did some floor exercises I learnt in gym.But all these count up to 10 mins, I doubt. Planning to do cycling in evening. If I don't then this has to be taken in count. :roll:

Hi,
Successfully did cycling. May 28 Tuesday.
I used to have a comparison.
Body fat - Easy to accumulate and retain, but hard to spend.
Money in the purse- Easy to spend but hard to accumulate and retain.
God really has a weird sense of humor.

Hi IS,
I cannot figure out what you did for May 22,23,26,28,29. I'm doing this in a hurry. Pls fill these blanks and write your opinions. We have done a month schedule. :D

I think we can have an assessment and some re-arrangements. To me, this 10 mins schedule has worked very well and I'm happy.

HI,

I backtracked to see what I did on 26, 28, 29. I thought I've been writing every day but somehow those 3 days got lost. I do know that on the 21, 22 I did yoga breathing. Oh, today is the 30th. So 29th I did nothing. 26 and 28 don't know.

I can't believe it's been a month! I feel good about my progress. I've started walking. I've done new yoga positions that I haven't done in years. I've done more reps of my regular yoga postures. I started doing arm exercises and arm weights. That's a lot of progress in one month!

Tell me what you see of your progress this first month!

I'll start writing the day like you do so it's easier to track.

May 30.
walk 20 minutes
3 reps stairs

I've decided to add another activity. I have 14 steps up to my apartment. I hang onto the railing and sort of haul myself up instead of just walking with hands free. I'm going to start going up and down and up and down and work up to 10 minutes.

1 rep = up/down

I did 3 reps this evening. I could have done more but I had a feeling I'd really pay for it with painful legs tomorrow!

Really I have been sticking to a plan for a whole month without fail.Of course skipped some days,but constant. It itself is a miracle.

Secondly, other than this ten mins I am doing small workouts throughout the day.So we both are doing more than the scheduled time. It is a good progress. It seems we have been waiting for a little encouragement to do great things. We got it now,we will do wonders I hope. My idea about stairs is that you should do it 4 or 5 times in a whole day at regular intervals. 3 times at a stretch will be taxing the body. It's my opinion. Do whatever suits you.

Then, my body has become a little lighter than before. Though no visible difference in measurements, I think my body has started to loosen its fat. In 2 or 3 months, if we make steady progress, I hope I'll shed inches around my hips and thighs. What about you?
