I'm doing bare minimum of exercises. It's not much, but I'm still doing a little each day.

Elaine, I'm glad you're able to do something. I know for me being able to do something physically makes me feel like I have some control over some part of my life, which feels good. I hope you're able to continue and feel better.

I did short walk. I'm not pushing myself like I was I think because I now have some hope of actually feeling better and being able to walk normally again.

I'm just doing the bare minimum. I still can't walk more than a few minutes. But I can do the heel-toe walk that they make you do for a sobriety test, and I didn't use to have good enough balance. (No the sobriety test is not from personal experience.) And I can do more of the very easy leg lifts (modified from what the doctor said to do.) than I used to.

Happy stepping (pun intended.)

I'm still doing the minimum. I walked a bit farther.

Good wishes to you all.

Hi Friends,
Have been through a tough time with health. In addition to that, a lot of commitments and a lot of physical and mental work. Deepavali [Diwali] festival came on Oct 27th. By God's Grace, it went nice. Next, Father is turning 90 this Sunday. Hope It too will go smooth. Then, above all, we are going to conduct our grandfather's annual death anniversary ceremony in our house this year. It comes in 12 days. Going to be a back-breaking job. But also many of our relatives are going to gather here. In a way happy to be in the company. I pray my health and moods should be cooperating. I haven't been exercising regularly. one or two days a week I do.

This much said about myself, how are you Elaine and Inspire? From your posts, it seems you are coping with health issues. I wish both of you soon regain your health. I pray for your health and happiness.

Hi Lalitha. Thanks for checking in. I was worrying about you. Sounds like there is a lot going on.

I haven't been exercising. I'm going to start again, seriously, after all my infusions are done in 2 weeks.

Unfortunately, I have a new health problem -- infected tooth. The dental insurance is balking at sending me to a specialist. In the meantime, I don't seem to be able to do anything and I'm feeling pretty depressed. The sun is out today. That's a helpful thing for me. Trying to count small blessings.

Hi,

I'm just trying to do a little bit each day. It's not enough to call it exercising, but it's what I can do now.

Good news - I'm getting surgery in December. Yes, that's good news. And best news - I was afraid I was going to need three surgeries - elbow, knee, hip. I only need one - hip. See, it takes a while to recover from surgery. With three surgeries, by the time I got through with all of them, my muscles would be really weak. But one surgery - I can get over that, and I'll feel a lot better after it.

So, for now, I'll try and maintain my muscles, and do the best I can.

Good wishes to you both, Lalitha and Inspire, (and anyone else reading this.)
