Welcome, everyone. Come join us to set and achieve our exercise goals. You can do as much or as little as you want. I originally started with the goal of 10 minutes per day! I worked up from there. Post your successes each day and we'll cheer you on and celebrate when you meet those goals -- even if it's only 10 minutes per day!

Since I'm coming from being sick, I'm going back to my original goal of doing 10 minutes per day doing anything that gets me moving -- no matter how slow or easy it is.

I'm doing various exercises for my hip and elbow. That's about it. But I do something every day. I walk a little each day, but it's so little, it really doesn't count as exercise. I'm just trying to keep everything from stiffening up. But the good news is - I'm doing something every day. And i'm getting stronger in some ways.

So now I have a computer program - courtesy of my doctor - with exercises I have to do before surgery. it's a good thing. The stronger my muscles are now, the better they'll recover. Hip surgery now is really cool. They used to have to cut the muscles to get to the hip. Now, they can move them aside, replace the hip, and sew me back up. A whole lot less pain, faster recovery and better recovery.

Got a bit chatty there!

Anyway, I have to do the exercises every day, and I'll try to add a walk and a couple of minutes on the exercise machine. Anyway, that's the plan.

DId what I was supposed to do.

Cool thing. One of the activities in today's program was a guided meditation where you focused on all the parts of your body hurting or otherwise. At the end of the meditation, he talked about what an amazing thing a body is, and, no matter what problems we're facing now, the body gets so much of its work right. It's the way gratitude should be. He didn't minimize the fact that we're doing the meditation because there's something wrong somewhere. Just to notice all the things are going well.

Happy exercising.

The surgery is fascinating. It is amazing some of the new things they can do.

I'm not doing anything right now exercise wise but once I get some of this dental stuff dealt with I hope I'll get back on track.

Went for a walk. I chose not to go all the way to the lake. I didn't want to push it. The weather is gorgeous. Ideal walking weather.

The lake is a 30 minute walk. On nice weather days, I used to sit and meditate for awhile before walking back again.

My energy is good. I got my last iron infusion today. I feel so much better.

I went for a walk today and made it to the lake. Also, I was able walk at a normal pace. I've had to walk really slow the last few months because of the iron deficiency. It was great to be able to walk fast enough to feel some endorphins!
