question about signatures

Postby Unity » Mon Feb 01, 2010 12:48 pm

Hi I was trying to add a fitness tracker to my sig and having a lot of problems (it works fine normally) so wondered if maybe this board isn't set up to have them?

I'm not sure what you mean by a fitness tracker. What exactly are you trying to insert in your signature?

if it's just an image, you should be able to include it. Post whatever you are trying to insert into your signature in your reply here so i can see what you are trying to do.

Merk, doesn't it need to be 100 X 100 pixels? A wait, is that the avatar?

Right now i'm guessing unity is trying to use some sort of java script/applet thing rather then a direct image and that's why it's failing. If i can see what's actually being inserted into the sig i should be able to tell why it's not working. 100x100 is the avatar size (or something close to 100x100)

Actually I think I might do it differently, instead of having it in the sig to appear on every post, I might just put in on the fitness thread.

You can't do that, it will be on every signature on every post you ever did. What you can do is put it at the bottom of every fitness thread. But, that's a pain to keep adding it (or copy/paste it from somewhere). Unless Merk has a way to customize forums (i.e., the "Monthly Challenge" forums versus all others) But, to be less confusing, I'm going to remove mine. :)

We're probably going to confuse anyone reading this thread, now we've both removed it LOL I think I will just add it on the Fit. thread, but only once a week or if I've increased my output. And it's not an automatic tracker so I have to manually change the figures in any case and then copy and paste all over again.
