problems with log ins

Postby Unity » Mon Feb 22, 2010 3:13 pm

Hi Today I had problems accessing the site (as well as other ones) when I first arrived, and guessed it was because yesterday the comp froze when I was trying to shut down. So after I managed to get in to use this site I changed to firefox to do something else, then returned here and couldn't get in again - this happened a couple more times. I don't normally get problems like this when I switch from FF to IE - it only ever happens if the computer plays up like yesterday. Any ideas? Thanks.

Not really sure what's going on but since it was happening to you with other sites, it seems clear that it's some sort of issue with your PC. Not really sure what the issue would be - i'd shut down the pc, wait a minute, then turn it back on and see if it's working any better. if not, you can try clearing out your browser cookies, but if you do that it means any website where you had your login saved, will get wiped and you'll have to login by typing in your user/pass for each site.

Thanks Merk, I'll have someone look at the pc.. Today when I came to the site it was even stranger, found a white page with a few lines of basic text asking for passwords.

It sounds like the browser isn't fully loading the page - like it's only loading part of it. Could also try using a different browser. Try chrome - http://www.google.com/chrome

Hi Merk Finally discovered the cause of the problems as I had my comp looked at and it was the hard drive -disc space. Lots of stuff was deleted and now it's working. :D
