Excuse or Obstacle?

Postby Tituba » Sun Jan 02, 2005 5:18 pm

Barbara Sher Quote: "You know how you can you tell the difference between a valid reason and an excuse? Pay attention and you'll see that excuses give you a sense of relief. But real obstacles give you a feeling of disappointment. That's the kind of thing you have to know when you go after a dream so you don't trick yourself into stopping."

Aha! Once again, Tituba, you find the exactly right explanation. Thanks, once again. Barbara, you are a genius. We can eliminate all the excuses by watching our feelings, and find solutions to the true obstacles, with a little help from our friends.
