My sister told me that she lowered her blood pressure 30 points by doing the
four minute workout featured on Zach Bush's "The M Clinic" website. (I didn't think to ask her what it was before or after, though.)
The idea is to do a
brief anaerobic workout a few times each day to stimulate the body's production of Nitric Oxide. This has the effect of dilating blood vessels, which should lower blood pressure. The body can replenish its supply of Nitric Oxide in 90 minutes, so folks are encouraged to do the routine every few hours.
I did my first three sets about 45 minutes ago. (Gosh, I'm in terrible shape!) But I can do this!
