Hi all,

I haven't accomplished anything on the health front since the Horrific Juice Fast of 2013.

I bought the book Eating for Life, by Bill Phillips. Again...
Unity, it's a VOG thing for me.

Anyway, that's the only plan that's ever worked well with my hypoglycemia, so I will get back to it. I'm also going to start morning and evening yoga at home, as well as stretches and core exercises at home, and cardio and light weights at the apartment complex gym.

I don't have my blood work results from last week yet.
I'll put in my starting points again when I get those.

Have a great month, everyone! :D

Hi all,

ST - shorts again :?:

Lol Mango, I was telling X2 about the creative excercises from a book but couldn't recall the name apart from the initial V, told him I kept re-buying it.

Thank goodness I can now relax as you have reminded me of the name :D

I read your impressive excercise plans for the day..........I haven't forgotten the walking DVD

My goal - not do anything.

Maybe reverse psychology will work.

I knew you hadn't begun. So you are going to spend most of the day excercising? And juicing as well? :D

I can't even keep up with a few mins excercising a day anymore yet recall my posts years back when I did a 6 hour daily walk followed by yoga and stair running.

Think there is some truth in 'use it or lose it'.

I'd say each human body "peaks" somewhere in the 30's. I ran all my marathons in my mid thirties to mid forties. Before that I was much faster, but less endurance. I was also more muscular in my mid thirties. You slow down in your forties and fifties and beyond (relative to what you were). Doesn't mean you stop, of course. :)

I'm assuming this human body person has exercised their entire life. There are people who were sedentary early and then became exercisers and in shape later in life (and vice versa), so they think they got better when they got older, but they didn't. They would have been even better if they had done it their entire life. But, it's better that way than nothing.

today's weight: 147

The other day it was 144, but I don't think that really counts since it was after The Illness. Once I started getting some fluids, my weight jumped back to normal.

I did use it as an opportunity to stay off the sugar though. I mean, once I've been without it a few days, it's much easier to just stay off of it. Funny thing was that I couldn't drink coffee this week, but diet sundrop didn't bother me at all!

Hi all

Strange you mention the coffee Graham, I made myself a cup yesterday, first time in over a week and I had to throw it away, tasted horrid.

Mango my food list --

today - cornflakes and milk, small beef pasties, roast veg, fresh small bread and salad and my new addiction - red onion chutney,
lots water, small glass orange squash at pub, tea at home

Yesterday - pack custard creams biscuits  , bread, salad, chutney, roast veg, potato chips 2 small bags probably other food can't remember

A few days ago I had wine, doner kebab, hamburger, cheesey chips - all X2's choice I might add

I still can't do the excercises and mom said my jeans are getting too tight. She seems to be the only person who has noticed I've put on weight and has been cross examining me what is going on. I know I went a bit mad on biscuits this week (I had bought a multi pack supposed to be for visitors) and I do go mad on potato chips occasionally but other than that I don't think I eat anything that fattening. Although I have eaten things this year occasionally at the pub that I normally would never touch, so it's probably an accummulation of 'special treats' that are adding the weight.
