Too many forums

Post by M B »

I think there are too many different forums compared to the number of threads. In order to check what's new I have to check two dozen forums (for just a few dozen new threads).

Or you could click "last visit unread" as I do.

Is there any way that some of the older threads could be archived? I hate to use the word "deleted" because every once in a while someone wants to look up something from three years ago. New people have said that they tend to get lost in all the threads, and I'd like the Boards to be as user-friendly to new people as possible.

The problem is that old timers like us know how to do things like search active topics, etc. Newbies are overwhelmed with all the choices and the search topics stuff is in tiny print compared to the forums. I wish the boards would be overhauled and more user friendly - especially since this is Barbara's "official website".
